SEOUL, SINGAPORE - Solve advised on the negotiations relating to BLACKPINK’s 2023 contract renewal with YG Entertainment.
In December 2023, YG Entertainment confirmed that all four members of BLACKPINK had renewed their contracts for group activities. The members subsequently elected not to renew their individual exclusive agreements for solo activities with the company.
The renewal established the framework for BLACKPINK to continue group activities while allowing the members to pursue their respective solo careers independently.
